League sources <a  href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SbondyNBA\/status\/1948836692703805854?t=LkjHFLtZvjrbpDMiuh0VOQ&amp;s=19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">told<\/a> Stefan Bondy of <em>The New York Post<\/em> that Andy Greer, Dice Yoshimoto, Daniel Brady, and Othella Harrington are all out. The Knicks fired these assistants quietly but decisively as Brown begins reshaping the bench to his vision.<\/p>\n<h2>Knicks Fire Five Assistants Including Thibodeau\u2019s Nephew<\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Yoshimoto Exit Ends a Long Thibodeau Link<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Yoshimoto stands out among the exits. He followed Tom Thibodeau from Chicago to Minnesota, then to New York. He even led the Knicks\u2019 Summer League team to the 2022 finals. But Jordan Brink, a video department standout, replaced him this summer. The Knicks fired assistants who carried Thibodeau\u2019s voice. The Knicks have made changes to the coaching staff without public drama, but the moves are sweeping. However, Brunson won\u2019t stay on as associate head coach. The Knicks want a new face for that role. They even asked the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/basketball\/category\/pelicans\/\" target=\"_self\">Pelicans<\/a> about James Borrego. He declined, choosing to stay in New Orleans.<\/p>\n<p>Brown is turning to familiar names to fill the vacant spots. <em>HoopsHype<\/em> reports that Charles Allen and Riccardo Fois, both of whom worked with Brown in Sacramento, are expected to join him.
