They will bring back center <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/k\/kolokch01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Christian Koloko<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and add guard\/forward <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cbb\/players\/chris-manon-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chris Manon<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, according to <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ShamsCharania\/status\/1947363991837171761\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ESPN\u2019s Shams Charania<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The team also <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mcten\/status\/1947401480090358168\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">waived<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> big man <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/j\/jemistr01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trey Jemison<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, per an afternoon X post from ESPN\u2019s Dave McMenamin.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Lakers Fill Out Roster with Pair of Two-Way Signings<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>Christian Koloko<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 7\u20191\u201d Koloko returns to the Lakers after a season of shuttling between them and their G League affiliate, South Bay. The 25-year-old big man appeared in 37 games for the purple and gold, averaging 2.4 points (60% FG, 71% FT), 2.5 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.4 blocks per game. He also had a productive stint in the G League. In ten starts, he <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/gleague\/players\/k\/kolokch01d.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">put up<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 14.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.1 blocks and 1.4 assists per game on .550\/.217\/.704 splits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Koloko made an NBA comeback after missing the 2023-24 season due to a <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/story\/_\/id\/42074108\/lakers-christian-koloko-medically-cleared-play-sources-say\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">career-threatening blood clot issue<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. He averaged 9.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists between three seasons at Cornell and a graduate year at Vanderbilt. Between the California Classic and Las Vegas, <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/basketball.realgm.com\/player\/Chris-Manon\/Summary\/159247\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manon put up<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 9.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocks on .442\/.286\/.676 splits<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Though not necessarily a dominant scorer, Manon prides himself on <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/college\/vanderbilt\/basketball\/doing-all-the-little-things-chris-manon-is-standing-out-for-golden-state-warriors-without-heavy-scoring-load\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cdoing all the little things.\u201d<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It&#8217;s an intangible that makes him a perfect fit with the Lakers and head coach JJ Redick. Golden State\u2019s Summer League head coach, Lainn Wilson, had high praise for Manon in an interview with Sports Illustrated.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;He&#8217;s a game changer. He can just impact the game in so many other ways and kind of be a spark where he&#8217;s causing live-ball turnovers in the open floor and that turns into automatic transition buckets for us.
