Jamal Murray

Jamal Murray has a history of being overlooked in fantasy, largely due to injuries and inconsistent play. However, he’s a very well-rounded contributor whose primary flaw over the past few seasons has been turnovers. While most of the 28-year-old’s value comes from his offensive stats, he’s also a good source of stocks.

38. Trey Murphy III

The New Orleans Pelicans had an injury-riddled year, but that gave Trey Murphy III the opportunity he needed to break out. The forward/guard emerged as a scoring and three-point threat with great versatility and defensive chops. Despite the team now being almost at full strength and Murphy bearing his own availability concerns, the 25-year-old has earned a bigger role.

39. Alex Sarr

2024 second-overall pick Alex Sarr is coming off a promising rookie season. The seven-foot big man stood out in blocks and rebounds, while low efficiency kept his ranking down. At 20 years old, he has plenty of time to refine his shooting and grow his offensive game. Sarr also has the benefit of playing for a rebuilding team that’s focused on developing him.

40. James Harden

It’s evident that James Harden is no longer the player he used to be as he enters his 17th season in the league. Nevertheless, the nearly 36-year-old remains a skilled playmaker and three-point shooter despite his scoring declining. The veteran also makes his presence felt on both ends of the court. Aside from age, Harden’s other downsides are poor field goal percentage and turnovers.

41. Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant was traded to the Houston Rockets over the offseason, but that won’t hurt the 15-time All-Star’s elite two-way production. Impressively, he’s managed to maintain a high fantasy ranking over the years and shows no signs of slowing down. What holds dynasty managers back from drafting him is the fact that he’s 37 years old and comes with injury concerns.

42. Stephen Curry

37-year-old Stephen Curry doesn’t have many seasons left in him, but he still has a lot left to give in fantasy. He’s one of the best sources of three-pointers in the league, boasts an elite conversion rate at the charity stripe, is a solid playmaker and can provide some defensive contributions. Age shouldn’t significantly affect Curry’s production, although injuries are a risk factor.

May 4, 2025; Houston, Texas, USA; Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (30) reacts after a play during game seven of the first round for the 2025 NBA Playoffs against the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center. Ausar Thompson

It’s only a matter of time until Ausar Thompson reaches the same fantasy level as his twin. He’s already proven to be a great defender, and he needs to continue working on his offensive game. Threes and foul shooting are his biggest areas of improvement. The 22-year-old fully recovered from his blood clot issue and will continue to develop with the Detroit Pistons.

44. VJ Edgecombe

The Philadelphia 76ers selected VJ Edgecombe third overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. Touted for his defensive capabilities and athleticism, he projects to be a 3-and-D guy whose finishing and ball-handling skills need work. While the nearly 20-year-old may not start immediately, the Baylor product is a great long-term asset for his upside and star potential.

45. Tyler Herro

There’s a new leading man on the Miami Heat, and his name is Tyler Herro. The 25-year-old is coming off a massive breakout, as his shooting, playmaking, rebounding and increased efficiency all contributed to his best fantasy finish. However, he leaves much to be desired on the defensive end and has only appeared in 70+ games once in his six-year career.

46. Ja Morant

There’s no doubt that Ja Morant is a talented player, but concerns persist regarding his availability. Between off-court antics and injury issues, he’s a bit of a wildcard. When the 25-year-old is healthy, he’s an explosive guard who can score, hit threes, dish out assists and grab some steals. He’s coming off a down season, but can bounce back.

47. Jaylen Brown

Jaylen Brown has left some managers frustrated as his ranking and production have declined over the past few years. However, he’s got a chance to redeem himself in 2025-26 with the Boston Celtics’ central star sidelined for the entire season. The 28-year-old offers points, rebounds, assists, steals, threes and a solid field goal percentage when things are clicking.

48. Myles Turner

After spending his entire career with the Indiana Pacers, Myles Turner will sport a Milwaukee Bucks uniform this upcoming season. There’s some uncertainty around some aspects of his offensive game, but managers at least know they are getting a great source of blocks. The 29-year-old is also good for rebounds and steals, and only lacks in assists on the other end.

Featured image: Alonzo Adams-Imagn Images

To help fantasy basketball managers prepare for dynasty drafts in 2025-26, here are rankings for the fourth round.
