Donovan Mitchell

Donovan Mitchell’s production and ranking took a dip this past season as his teammates increased theirs. Still, the six-time All-Star remains at the forefront of the team, and his decline isn’t a cause for concern for his future. The 28-year-old is an excellent source of points, threes, assists, steals, free throw percentage and rebounds.

26. Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis only suited up nine times for the Dallas Mavericks following the blockbuster trade at the deadline. The change of scenery doesn’t hurt his dynasty stock, but some drawbacks are his age (32) and injury history. The big man is undoubtedly a top fantasy player when healthy, thanks to his elite defensive numbers, rebounding and scoring.

27. Jalen Brunson

Since joining the New York Knicks in 2022-23, Jalen Brunson’s fantasy value skyrocketed as the leading man. While some of his numbers took minor hits as a result of the team’s star-studded starting lineup, he didn’t disappoint managers too much. The guard has a great offensive bag and is entering his prime at 28 years old.

28. Domantas Sabonis

Managers know they can always count on Domantas Sabonis for double-doubles. The big man led the league in them in 2024-25 and also provides exceptional numbers in assists and field goal percentage. While the 29-year-old doesn’t offer many blocks, Sabonis made strides in his biggest weaknesses by setting new career highs in free-throw percentage and threes.

29. Franz Wagner

Franz Wagner’s leap this past season was primarily attributed to his co-star’s injury. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old showcased his versatility as he set new personal bests in several categories despite also suffering a torn oblique. Efficiency from the floor and turnovers are points of improvement, but the forward’s game has plenty of time to develop nicely.

30. De’Aaron Fox

The Sacramento Kings shipped De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs at the trade deadline. The 27-year-old will have plenty of playmaking opportunities and boasts a well-rounded skill set. The guard also improved his biggest weakness: free-throw percentage. Fox underwent surgery on a finger that had been a problem for the entire season, but he’ll be ready for 2025-26.

Mar 10, 2025; San Antonio, Texas, USA; San Antonio Spurs guard De’Aaron Fox (4) points in the first half against the Dallas Mavericks at Frost Bank Center. Darius Garland

After a down year in 2023-24, Darius Garland is coming off his second All-Star appearance. Most of his fantasy value comes from the offensive categories. Rebounds and blocks are his biggest holes, and the 25-year-old has also been known to struggle with consistency and injuries. In June, Garland had a procedure done on his toe and is expected to miss the start of next season.

32. Dylan Harper

2025 second-overall pick Dylan Harper is only 19 and has star potential in the NBA. While he may not be an immediate fantasy contributor due to the Spurs’ crowded backcourt, he’s still an excellent dynasty asset. At Rutgers, the rookie displayed solid two-way capabilities, with shooting efficiency being an area of improvement.

33. Brandon Miller

We didn’t get to see a lot of Brandon Miller in 2024-25 due to a wrist injury shutting him down early in the year. Yet, he appeared to be on track to put together a strong sophomore campaign. The 22-year-old’s main contributions come from scoring and three-point shooting. However, he’s given glimpses of expanding his game, especially on the defensive end and in playmaking.

34. Desmond Bane

The Memphis Grizzlies kicked off the 2025 offseason by trading Desmond Bane to the Orlando Magic. The change of scenery shouldn’t affect his production much as he forms a new big three. He fills a big three-point shooting need while continuing to make a two-way impact. The 27-year-old has plenty of experience running the show and playing alongside other stars.

35. Dyson Daniels

Thanks to a trade to the Atlanta Hawks and a starting role, Dyson Daniels exploded onto the fantasy scene. He quickly won the hearts of managers, being only 22 years old and possessing elite defensive abilities. While the Australian’s offensive numbers increased, he still has a way to go in terms of improving his efficiency and three-point shooting.

36. Bam Adebayo

Over the past few seasons, Bam Adebayo’s ranking has declined. However, the big man remains a valuable dynasty asset for his contributions in points, rebounds and stocks with some playmaking abilities. The 28-year-old also made a notable improvement in the three-point shooting, while his field goal percentage dropped.

Featured image: © David Richard-Imagn Images

To help fantasy basketball managers prepare for dynasty drafts in 2025-26, here are rankings for the third round.
