Going undrafted certainly doesn’t mean you have no shot of making it to the NBA for more than a cup of coffee. The Oklahoma City Thunder just won a championship with two undrafted players, Alex Caruso and Luguentz Dort, playing large roles. He let it fly from deep, connecting on 40.7% of his three-point tries while attempting 7.2 per game last season. The 6-foot-8 forward is Villanova’s all-time career scoring leader with 2,314 points.

Vladislav Goldin, Miami Heat

Vladislav Goldin spent last year as part of a dominant double big lineup alongside first round pick Danny Wolf. The 7-foot-1 Goldin averaged 16.6 points (on 60.7% shooting), 7.0 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks in his lone season at Michigan after transferring from Florida Atlantic. After not attempting a three-pointer during his first four years in college, he went 11-33 from beyond the arc in 2024-25.

Caleb Love, Portland Trail Blazers

Now 23 years old, Caleb Love had five productive college seasons. The first three came at North Carolina, and the last two came with Arizona. He is 25th in men’s college basketball since 1947-48 with 2,762 career points. A third team All-American in 2023-24, he averaged 17.2 points per contest last season. Arizona fell in the Sweet 16 during both his years there, and he helped North Carolina reach the national title game in 2022.

RJ Luis, Utah Jazz

It was a remarkable 2024-25 season for St. John’s as they were crowned both the regular season and tournament champions of the Big East. RJ Luis was the undisputed best player for the school and their leading scorer (18.2 PPG). The 22-year-old shooting guard/small forward was a second team All-American and also averaged 7.2 rebounds per contest.

Ryan Nembhard, Dallas Mavericks

The NCAA leader in assists per game (9.8), Ryan Nembhard is the younger brother of Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard. Spending the last two seasons at Gonzaga, the younger Nembhard also led the WCC averaging 1.7 steals per contest. The 22-year-old measured at under 6-foot at the combine, but he has clearly shown the ability to be a masterful facilitator.

Mark Sears, New Orleans Pelicans

A first team All-American, Mark Sears helped lead Alabama to the Elite Eight last season. The 6-foot-1 guard has been one of the more prolific college players the last couple years. He also was a second team All-American in 2023-24. Sears has proven to be an excellent shooter as evidenced by his career 37.5% three-point and 85.8% free-throw shooting in college.

The 2025 NBA Draft has now come and went with 59 players hearing their name selected over its two-day period.
