Leaving the Green Wave after his junior season, he was the 2018 AAC Most Improved Player. However, the New Orleans native was unable to latch on at the next level, and now plays abroad for Al-Ahly Ly.<\/p>\n<h2>Tulane Freshman Kam Williams To Test NBA Draft Waters<\/h2>\n<p>This summer, Tulane freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cbb\/players\/kam-williams-2.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kam Williams<\/a> could join Frazier as the only Green Wave players to be drafted in the last 20 years, as ESPN\u2019s Jonathan Givony reports that he\u2019ll enter the CBB transfer portal while testing NBA Draft waters.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">NEWS: Tulane&#8217;s Kam Williams will enter the NCAA transfer portal, his agent Chris Gaston of Octagon tells ESPN. The 45th overall pick in the 1985 NBA Dra<em>ft, Hot Rod<\/em> enjoyed a successful 13-year NBA career. Though the NBA isn\u2019t considered to be particularly physical, he\u2019ll still be matchup up against grown men. Furthermore, he could be asked to add muscle in order to play more forward at the next level. With that being said, his potential to be effective at three positions should only make him a more appealing addition.<\/p>\n<p>As a four-star high school recruit, he didn&#8217;t start his freshman season with the pomp and circumstance of other prospects in this draft cycle. Nevertheless, he&#8217;s outplayed guys like UConn forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cbb\/players\/liam-mcneeley-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Liam McNeeley<\/a> and Illinois wing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cbb\/players\/will-riley-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Will Riley<\/a>.
