That ultimately led to a Lakers timeout and, eventually, a blowout loss. Thursday’s game against the Bucks was the second time that head coach JJ Redick gave Len significant minutes in a while. Although he started the game, Len only played 19 minutes. He finished the game with only two points, three rebounds, and one assist.

Len’s Struggles in Los Angeles Have Been Nothing Short of Putrid

The Lakers signed Len after they rescinded the Mark Williams deal in early February. Los Angeles needed a big man to fill the void after trading away their superstar Anthony Davis in exchange for Luka Dončić. Len would initially sign with the Indiana Pacers for the rest of the season. However, Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka called Len and changed his mind.

Len stated that he couldn’t pass up the Lakers because of the chance to get more playing time than the Pacers. However, that has not materialized due to poor play. In only six games and two starts, Len has tallied 1.0 points per game on 33.3 percent shooting from the field, 2.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.3 blocks in 12.2 minutes of action. He joined the Lakers on Feb. 11. The Lakers’ center depth is the main concern on an otherwise stellar roster, and Len isn’t helping this concern.

Len has played for six teams: the Suns, Hawks, Kings, Raptors, Wizards, and Lakers. The Suns drafted Len as the No. 5 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. In 686 games, Len averages 6.7 points per game and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 51 percent.

Reggie Miller Set to Join NBC Sports for Next Season’s Coverage

The NBA Hall of Famer and the five-time All-Star will continue his broadcasting career but with NBC Sports. After two decades at TNT, Miller will join NBC Sports starting next season. NBC Sports announced the news in mid-February.

Miller immediately jumped in the booth after his stellar playing career. He averaged 18.2 points per game, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 1389 games in 18 years. Miller spent his entire career with the Pacers and established himself as the best Pacer of all time. In his career, he was named a three-time All-NBA member, a member of the 50-40-90 club in 1994, and a member of the 75th NBA Anniversary Team.

Photo credit: © Benny Sieu-Imagn Images

NBA Hall of Famer and one of the greatest three-point shooters of all time, Reggie Miller, has been on the TNT broadcast for two decades.
