Flagg in the Big Easy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Okay, the Pelicans probably don\u2019t deserve to win the Cooper Flagg NBA Draft lottery. They still have a number one overall pick from Duke on their roster in Zion Williamson<\/a>, and they haven’t had much success with him. The Pelicans weren\u2019t even supposed to be in the tanking business, but that\u2019s what makes them landing Flagg so fun.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Pelicans lost this season to injuries. It\u2019s as simple as that. Most of their key players have missed significant time, and even though they were expected to make the playoffs, they\u2019ve been at the bottom of the standings most of the season. They now have the <\/span>fourth-best odds<\/span><\/a> to win the lottery and draft Flagg, and oh how fun that would be.
