After waiving center Adama Sanogo<\/a>, the Chicago Bulls signed<\/a>\u00a0Jahmir Young<\/a> on<\/span> a two-way contract. He has never touched the floor of an NBA court but has proved to be a solid scoring guard in the G League. Could he be an asset down the final stretch of the season<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Bulls Sign G League Standout to Two-Way Deal<\/h2>\n

Young, an undrafted guard out of Maryland, has spent this year in the G League with the Grand Rapids Gold. He is currently averaging<\/a> 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 7.9 assists. In the league, he ranks fifth in total points<\/a>, eighth in total assists<\/a>, total steals<\/a>, second in total made, and third in attempted field goals<\/a>. He has been one of the most productive all-around guards in the G League for Grand Rapids and will now likely play for the Windy City Bulls.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that Young is a decorated NCAA standout. He played five years between the Big Ten at Maryland and CUSA at Charlotte. Young earned CUSA Rookie of the Year along with three-time All-CUSA honors. While at Maryland, he also played his way into two All-Big Ten teams.<\/p>\n
