Once upon a time, the Denver Nuggets sounded like they might land<\/a> All-Star wing Zach LaVine<\/a> in a blockbuster trade. However, after the Chicago Bulls gave the high-flyer first class tickets to Sacramento, the player who was presumably their top trade target<\/a> was off the board. As a result, Michael Porter Jr.<\/a>‘s job might be safe.<\/p>\n

Following their victory against the New Orleans Pelicans, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone discussed the concept of touching base with Porter amid speculation that he could be traded<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nuggets Have Had ‘No Conversations’ About Michael Porter Jr. Trade<\/h2>\n

“We’re not trading Michael Porter (Jr.),” he says. “So I’m not touching base with anybody on that… If there’s something coming, obviously (Nuggets general manager) Calvin (Booth) will talk with me and I’m sure we’ll communicate with whatever players.”<\/p>\n
