During the offseason, the Warriors displayed a strong interest in names like Paul George<\/a>, Zach LaVine,<\/a> and Lauri Markkanen<\/a>. Despite some serious discussions, nothing bore fruition. Amid the Warriors’ current struggles, ESPN’s Shams Charania shared the latest happenings around the Bay Area.\u00a0As per the NBA insider, the Warriors management has been reaching out to almost every All-Star in the league. The franchise cannot afford to let Curry’s window for a fifth championship<\/a> go in vain as he continues to play at a high level. However, there are several other variables that cannot be overlooked.<\/p>\n

Kicking off the 2024-25 season with a phenomenal 12-3 record, things have only spiraled downwards for the Dubs. Coach Kerr’s rotations<\/a> and adjustments haven’t clicked, with injuries and mediocre performances contributing to this downfall as well.<\/p>\n

Hoping to flip the switch, GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. and the front office have been making several inquiries for the high-profile players in the league. Shedding further light on the situation, Shams had the following to say on The Pat McAfee Show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“The Warriors are legitimately calling about every All-Star player. Just name the All-Star player, and the Warriors have probably called them. Paul George, they’ve called. They make calls on every star and that of course includes players like LeBron, players like Kevin Durant<\/a>, players like Jimmy Butler<\/a>. They’re dead set on trying to find another star player, superstar player with Stephen Curry.”<\/em><\/p>\n
