All of the rumors seem to place them in the mix of trading for players that fit at least one of those categories. One insider has confirmed their interest in an experienced center on a roster currently bound for the Play-in Tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Lakers Trade Rumors: LA Interested in Two-Time All-Star<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>Lakers Linked to Another Bulls Veteran<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Lakers and Bulls meet again in the world of trade rumors. This time, ClutchPoints\u2019 Brett Siegel has revealed the <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/latest-jimmy-butler-zach-lavine-nba-trade-rumors-siegels-scoop\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lakers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are among the teams eyeing veteran big man <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/v\/vucevni01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nikola Vucevic<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vucevic has drawn more interest than LaVine this season due to his significantly smaller contract. The 34-year-old center is viewed by many organizations as the best frontcourt talent available on the trade market right now. The Warriors, Lakers, Pelicans, and Detroit Pistons have all expressed interest in Vucevic, sources said. It is worth noting that the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs have previously held interest in Vucevic before this season.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 34-year-old\u2014who spent <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cbb\/players\/nikola-vucevic-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">three years at USC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> before going 16th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft\u2014has remained an effective presence for Chicago. In 27 games this season, Vucevic is averaging 20.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.8 blocks on .592\/.480\/.857 splits. He\u2019s also recorded <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/v\/vucevni01\/gamelog\/2025\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">16 double-doubles this year<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including a <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Vp0fVvUJZRc\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">16-point, 14-rebound<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> performance against the Boston Celtics on Friday. His ability to space the floor is just as impressive, as his 48% mark from three comes on an average of 2.2 made triples per game (<\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/stats\/players\/traditional?PlayerPosition=C&amp;dir=A&amp;sort=FG3M\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5th among centers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/basketball\/2024\/12\/02\/nikola-vucevic-trade-destinations\/\" target=\"_self\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lakers\u2019 interest in Vooch<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> makes sense, and it goes beyond any SoCal ties. The Swiss center\u2019s scoring average is <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/stats\/players\/traditional?PerMode=PerGame&amp;sort=PTS&amp;dir=-1&amp;PlayerPosition=C\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">eighth in the league among bigs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. His current numbers are also not far off from his All-Star seasons in 2019 and 2021, a testament to his consistency and effort at this stage in his career. It\u2019s clear the Bulls will be sellers at the deadline, trying to unload the contracts of Vucevic and <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/l\/lavinza01.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zach LaVine<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that have been on the trading block for \u201cover a year,\u201d according to Siegel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Compared to LaVine\u2019s contract, Vucevic\u2019s deal may be easier to stomach for the Lakers and others eyeing a trade for him. He\u2019s in the second year of a <\/span><a  href=\"https:\/\/hoopshype.com\/player\/nikola-vucevic\/salary\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">three-year, $60 million contract<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, earning $20 million this season before his salary jumps to $21.5 million in 2025-26.
