Teammates on USA’s 2024 Olympics Avengers team, Stephen Curry<\/a> and Anthony Edwards,<\/a> hold each other in high regard. In what could be termed a changing of the guard for the future, the two All-Stars never hesitate to display their competitive sides, often trash-talking as well.<\/p>\n

However, there exists a mutual admiration for other’s talents and skill sets. During a recent interview<\/a> with Rachel Nichols of All the Smoke Productions, Ant-Man<\/a> revealed how the Chef impacted his game significantly during their stint in Paris.<\/p>\n

When asked which Olympic teammate influenced him most, the 23-year-old replied the following<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I’d say Steph. Playing without the ball, running around, cutting, setting screens, getting guys open. Steph did it for the whole Olympics, and I definitely try to mimic that.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Shooting an impressive 42.7% from the three-point line, Edwards seems to have certainly taken a page from Curry’s book.<\/p>\n

Stephen Curry’s Ultimate Praise for Anthony Edwards<\/h2>\n

Playing the Warriors back-to-back over the span of three days, the Timberwolves were 1-1 against the home team. Ant-Man was nothing short of spectacular, averaging 28.5 PPG, 7.5 APG, and 4.5 RPG on 56.4% shooting from the field, including 47.4% from the three-point line in the two games against the Dubs.<\/p>\n

Posting a game-high 30 points in their second meeting of the season, Curry praised Edwards. The four-time champion believed the league was in good hands going forward, applauding the Wolves guard, saying the following<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“He can do everything on the court. He’s shooting the ball at a high level now. He’s got that dog in him (pun intended, Georgia), and he just loves hooping. I got to feel that energy all summer and what he brought to Team USA. He talks trash, he’s in every moment and he’s a guy that the league’s in great hands for the next 15 years with him. Just being who he is.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
