In the West, things change quickly because there are too many teams that strive to be in the playoffs. With the trade deadline looming, let\u2019s talk about potential Los Angeles Lakers trade targets.<\/p>\n

Lakers Know They Need Two Trades to Contend<\/h2>\n

Speaking on NBA Today, ESPN\u2019s Brian Windhorst talked about how the Lakers are fully aware that they need to make moves. And not just a single move, but multiple moves to get the team going. Brian said,<\/p>\n

\u201cThey need two moves, in all honesty, they need two moves, and internally, they know this.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Previously, Brian talked about how they haven\u2019t changed the team in a while, saying,<\/p>\n

\u201cThe truth is they haven\u2019t really materially changed this roster. They were a play-in team last year in a year that the West was competitive, and they are probably headed for the play-in this year. They have not made changes last summer, they did not make changes last trade deadline, and the last time they made significant changes to the roster free agency in 2023, the guys they signed have not been able to contribute.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
