The Blazers are thriving from the Deni Avdija<\/a> trade with his superb stretch. They have seen improved Avdija stats across recent games. This is a great development for the deal that earned a solid initial trade grade.<\/p>\n

Portland’s Improvements After the Deni Avdija Trade<\/h2>\n

The Portland Trail Blazers made a significant move in the 2024 offseason when they made the Demi Avdija trade. They sent two first round picks, two second round picks, and\u00a0Malcolm Brogdon<\/a> to the Wizards, and it was an exciting move for Portland.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the Israeli forward’s season started badly. In his first 11 games, Avdija\u2019s numbers were underwhelming. He only averaged 9.0 points per game on 34.8% shooting from the field and 17.1% from long distance.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, Avdija has picked it up as of late. In his last nine games, he has averaged 14.3 points per game on 44.1% from the field and 42.9% from three.<\/p>\n

After starting his first 10 games in a slump, where he shot 37% on FGs and 19% from 3 for just 9.9 ppg, Deni Avdija has gotten back into a rhythm<\/p>\n

Over his last 9, Avdija is averaging 14.3 ppg on 44% FG and 43% 3PT<\/p>\n
