The Brooklyn Nets<\/a> have caught many people by surprise. This summer, they traded Mikal Bridges<\/a> to the New York Knicks<\/a>. While many expected the Nets to easily be among the worst teams in the league, they have been decent to begin the season. Through 12 games, the Nets are 5-7. Though this is a losing record, it is still good enough for the No. 8 seed in the East. If the season ended today, the Nets would be a Play-In team. Furthermore, they will potentially see the return<\/a> of Bojan Bogdanovic<\/a> next month, who the team acquired in the Bridges trade. However, on the flip side, the team will be without starting center Nic Claxton<\/a> due to a back injury.<\/p>\n

Per Michael Scotto, according to the Nets, Claxton suffered a lower back strain and will miss approximately one week.<\/p>\n
