Among the teams are in the rebuilding stage, the Brooklyn Nets seem to be further behind than everyone. However, as anyone who looked at their rearview mirror knows, objects may be closer than they appear.<\/p>\n
The Nets already have two young players with star potential in Cam Thomas<\/a> and Nic Claxton<\/a>. Then there are the veterans, like Ben Simmons<\/a>, Cameron Johnson<\/a>, Dorian Finney-Smith<\/a>, and Dennis Schroder<\/a>. Each of them, including Simmons, has a valuable role on the team.<\/p>\n In fact, Schroder is considered the Nets\u2019 locker room leader.<\/p>\n Not Thomas, who is their most naturally gifted scorer. Not Claxton, who is their only definitive franchise cornerstone.
