New York controlled most of the game, like Game 1, but this time, they held onto their lead and won the game 80-66. Although All-WNBA First Team <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/s\/stewabr01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Breanna Stewart<\/a> was the leading scorer for the Liberty with 21 points, <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/wnba\/players\/l\/laneybe01w.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Betnijah Laney-Hamilton<\/a> was the big surprise with 20 points of her own. The Liberty covered the -7 spread, and the game went under.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>WNBA Finals Game 3 Thriller<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Game 3, the Liberty rallied from a 15-point deficit to defeat the Lynx 80-77.
