It\u2019s uncertain if this list is exclusive or if Arenado would consider other teams as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Nolan Arenado Trims List of Preferred Trade Spots<\/h2>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">The MLB Winter Meetings have started in Dallas, and trade talks involving Arenado are heating up. The Cardinals&#8217; president of baseball operations mentioned that he intends to explore trading Arenado, according to Katie Woo of The Athletic. Several teams have shown interest in the future Hall of Famer. Arenado&#8217;s contract has three years and $74 million left, but it includes a full no-trade clause. Arenado must personally waive this clause for any trade to happen. His agent, Joel Wolfe, has consistently stated that Arenado wants to play for a contending team.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Joel Wolfe, Nolan Arenado&#8217;s agent: &#8220;The Cardinals are motivated (to trade). This would explain the presence of the Angels on his list, although they are, in all likelihood, not a contending team in 2025.
