Notably, he made significant strides in plate discipline this season, boasting a 12.3% walk rate and an impressive 16.4% strikeout rate. Kim’s speed is another asset, evidenced by his 60 stolen bases in 74 attempts over the past two seasons.<\/p>\n

However, a significant concern has emerged that could impact Kim’s free agency prospects. With Bo Bichette<\/a> at shortstop, the Blue Jays have internal options for second and third base, including Davis Schneider<\/a>, Will Wagner<\/a>, Addison Barger<\/a>, Orelvis Martinez<\/a>, and Ernie Clement<\/a>. However, these players lack significant major league experience. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.<\/a> also sees occasional time at third base.<\/p>\n
