A week after the World Series wrapped up, the baseball hot stove is heating up. The Los Angeles Angels continue their active offseason, zeroing in on a key addition to their starting rotation. Sources told 670 The Score’s Bruce Levine<\/a> that that the Angels are in an agreement on a one-year, $2.5 million deal with right-hander Kyle Hendricks<\/a>, pending official confirmation from the club. Hendricks, 34, would be the latest addition for the Angels, joining outfielder<\/a> Jorge Soler<\/a>, infielder Scott Kingery<\/a> and first baseman\/outfielder Ryan Noda<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Entering 2025, Hendricks has spent his entire 11-year career with the Chicago Cubs, helping them win the 2016 World Series. The signing represents a homecoming for Hendricks, who attended Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo, Calif.<\/p>\n
