Seattle Mariners rookie outfielder,<\/span>\u00a0Jonatan Clase<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0is trying to make a good impression in\u00a0<\/span>Seattle<\/span><\/a>\u00a0after getting his second shot with the big club this season.\u00a0 Clase\u00a0<\/span>was recalled<\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0<\/span>May 24th<\/span>\u00a0in a move that sent third baseman\u00a0<\/span>Luis Ur\u00edas<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to Triple-A Tacoma.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>This<\/span>\u00a0is the second time Clase has\u00a0<\/span>been called up<\/span> in 2024. Hopefully, this stint will be more productive. Mariners rookie outfielder,<\/span><\/p>\n

Jonatan Clase Hopes to Find His Spark\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Earlier this season, on\u00a0<\/span>April 15th<\/span>, Clase was called up to the Seattle Mariners from Triple-A Tacoma. According to MLB Pipeline, <\/span>Clase is the number 10 prospect in the Mariners system. <\/span>\u00a0The Dominican outfielder slashed .222\/.250\/.259 through 27 at-bats.\u00a0 Clase <\/span>was originally called up<\/span>\u00a0to try and jump-start an offense that was struggling at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a very young player,\u201d Mariners manager\u00a0<\/span>Scott Servais<\/span><\/a>\u00a0said. \u201cWe needed a little shot in the arm. He did that\u00a0<\/span>and<\/span>\u00a0I think he\u2019s got things to work on. He\u2019s a learner.\u00a0<\/span>You can see him asking the right\u00a0<\/span>questions<\/span>, <\/span>listening to the right players and\u00a0<\/span>what they\u2019re talking about<\/span>.<\/span> He\u2019s got a very bright future ahead of him. He\u2019s still got room for growth.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
