Marcus Semien<\/a> led a confident Texas Rangers team to a 15-run outburst during Tuesday’s big victory over the Oakland Athletics.<\/p>\n

Texas defeated Oakland on Monday by a final score of 15-8. The football-like score was a product of Texas’ potent offense<\/a> coming to life. The Rangers rotation has dealt with a plethora of injuries<\/a> to open the new campaign, but the offense has played a role in keeping the team afloat. It was Semien’s turn to lead the way in Tuesday’s victory. He went 4-for-5 at the plate with a home run, five RBI, three runs scored, and eight total bases. In fact, he was a triple shy of the cycle by the second inning.<\/p>\n

It was an all-around stellar effort from the team’s lineup against the Athletics. Jonah Heim<\/a> added four hits, while Leody Taveras<\/a>, Corey Seager<\/a>, Nathaniel Lowe<\/a>, and Josh Smith<\/a> all recorded multi-hit games.<\/p>\n

Semien addressed the Rangers’ offensive performance after the win, via Bally Sports Southwest.<\/p>\n

“Just momentum from last night. Once we woke up, got a lead, we showed up today ready to score some runs,” Semien said. “That’s a good feeling. Baseball works like that.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
