The Miami Marlins rotation has just been hit with another injury to their drained rotation. Left-hander Jes\u00fas Luzardo<\/a> will be joining the long list of pitchers who will be out. Per Craig Mish, the left-hander will miss his start due to elbow discomfort and he will go through further testing. This comes at a time when the Marlins already have three members of their rotation out due to injury. Luzardo will become the fourth starting pitcher out for the Marlins, joining\u00a0 former Cy Young winner Sandy Alc\u00e1ntara<\/a> and young star Eury P\u00e9rez<\/a> who are both out for the season due to Tommy John.<\/p>\n

Left-hander Braxton Garrett<\/a> should be back by June. Garret has been completing rehab assignments in the minors. They are currently 6-20 and have not been able to get their offense going. Now with their pitching being flooded with injuries, it looks like the troubles are going to persist.<\/p>\n

Luzardo will be scratched from tonight’s game against the Washington Nationals and reliever Anthony Maldonado<\/a> will start a bullpen game.<\/p>\n
