Puk. The left-hander is out due to an illness so he’ll be pushed back for a few days. Cabrera, 26, was out while recovering from a shoulder impingement he suffered during the offseason.

According to Christina De Nicola of MLB.com, Max Meyer will be optioned as the corresponding move for Cabrera’s return. Meyer’s workload and innings will be monitored as he’s coming back from Tommy John surgery. After returning from the minors he went 2-1 with a 2.38 Era and 1.37 WHIP in five starts. If he has better control of his pitches he can transform himself into a reliable starting pitcher for the Marlins.

In three Triple-A rehab starts, allowing one run in 12 2/3 innings.
