There are Cubs hitters up and down the lineup with career success against Carrasco, too. Jeimer Candelario and Yan Gomes have both hit .400 against Carrasco in their lifetime. Ever since his promotion to the show in 2017, Nick Senzel has always been able to hit against left-handed pitching. For his career, he hits .270 against a left-handed pitcher and is hitting .223 against a right-hander. Senzel went 1-3 against Braxton Garrett earlier this season and he had a walk and a double in their only meeting last season.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Braxton Garrett, it has been a season to forget. His 4.14 ERA is almost a full run more than last year and has been 0-1 with a 6.27 ERA since the All-Star break.
