The Best Bets managed to make some profit last night through the fire and the flames. Our night began with the announcement that Adley Rutschman would not be in the starting lineup for the Baltimore Orioles<\/a>. Simultaneously killing one bet and weakening another. Dean Kremer and the O’s managed to make it through the fifth inning tied at one with the Philadelphia Phillies<\/a>, despite a minor blowup from Kremer in the bottom of the frame. Resulting in another refund of our wager… Meh.<\/p>\n

Arigato Kenta Maeda-San! In Minnesota, things went much smoother. Maeda wheeled AND dealt, striking out eight batters through six and one-third innings. Additionally, both teams kept this game extremely close, needing extra innings to decide a winner. So, our juice reducer was never in jeopardy.<\/p>\n
