The Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a> released their updated spring training schedule for 2022 on Friday afternoon. They open Thursday, March 17 and will play 20 games across the Cactus League sites. A single exhibition game follows, coming April 5 at Chase Field against the newly named Cleveland Guardians<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ten of their Cactus League games are home games. Two of the ten road games come at Salt River Fields against their co-tenant, the Colorado Rockies<\/a>, while the other eight come against the Chicago Cubs<\/a>, Guardians (split-squad, or ss), Kansas City Royals<\/a>, Los Angeles Angels<\/a>, Milwaukee Brewers<\/a>, San Francisco Giants<\/a>, Seattle Mariners<\/a> (ss), and Texas Rangers<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Diamondbacks will not face the Oakland Athletics<\/a> at all in Spring Training 2022. They will also not host the Royals<\/a>, Brewers<\/a>, or Giants<\/a>. In addition, they will not play the Chicago White Sox<\/a>, Cincinnati Reds<\/a>, Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a>, or San Diego Padres<\/a> on the road.<\/p>\n The complete schedule is below, accurate as of 5:30 pm Mountain Time on Friday, March 11.
