ARLINGTON, Texas, June 4 \u2014 Here is the question of the day. What is one of the best feelings in the world? If you’re unsure, it is coming home to your own surroundings after a very long trip, no matter what your occupation is. With this in mind, the Texas Rangers<\/a> have to be riding a wave of relief. They have just come home from a nine-game road trip in which they lost all nine games. The trip started in Anaheim against the Los Angeles Angels<\/a>. Then it was on to Seattle for four against the Seattle Mariners<\/a>. To cap it off, they played three in the Mile High City against the Colorado Rockies<\/a>. Friday night they began a three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays<\/a>. It was a good night, as the Rangers were able to snap their skid against the Rays. The final score was 5-4.<\/p>\n The Rangers struck first in the bottom of the third. Isiah Kiner-Falefa singled but was tagged out at second by Brandon Lowe. On the play, left fielder Willie Calhoun scored. Later, in the bottom of the fourth, the Rangers scored again on a sharp line drive to center field by first baseman Nate Lowe. Kevin Kiermaier caught it, but that was deep enough to score Joey Gallo from third base. During that same inning, third baseman Charlie Culberson plated Nick Solak on a sacrifice bunt, making it 3-0. The bunt also moved Lowe to second. It seemed like the whole lineup chipped in.<\/p>\n One of the highlights of the evening was when the left-handed light tower of power Joey Gallo hit his tenth home run to put the Rangers ahead 5-0 in the bottom of the fifth. It was a welcome sight for both the Rangers and their fan base, as Gallo has been a little off lately. Hopefully better things are to come. Tonight was a good start. The Rangers were able to snap their skid at home.<\/p>\n Starter Kyle Gibson went 5 1\/3 to get the win. His record now stands at 4-0 on the year. He had to feel good about this outing.
