Chicago<\/a> has emerged as one of the National League’s strongest clubs, but the bullpen remains the one area where Jed Hoyer could look to make a significant upgrade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chapman already has history with the organization after helping end the Cubs’ 108-year championship drought in 2016. A reunion would immediately give Craig Counsell another late-inning weapon while allowing the bullpen to slot into more defined roles entering October.<\/span><\/p>\n
