Boston Red Sox outfielder <\/span><\/span><\/a>Roman Anthony<\/a> injured his wrist on Monday and will be going on the 10-day injured list, according to Alex Speier of The Boston Globe. After a swing felt off for him, he would later leave the game against the Detroit Tigers and be sent to the clubhouse. The X-rays came back negative, but he then left the team to get a second opinion back in Boston. The diagnosis was a sprained right wrist.<\/span><\/p>\n

While 10 days is a short stint, it\u2019s still major for a player of his caliber to be placed there.
