During a disappointing 2023 season in New York, Pham was one of the few bright spots, batting .268 with 10 home runs. He later carried that production into Arizona, helping the D-backs advance to the World Series.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1374\">Over 13 seasons, Pham has played for 10 different organizations, bringing a veteran, journeyman presence and reliable depth wherever he lands. In 2025, the 38-year-old appeared in 120 games with the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Pittsburgh Pirates<\/span><\/span>, batting .245 with 10 home runs, 52 RBIs, and a .330 on-base percentage.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1778\">For the Mets, Pham will likely begin the season in Triple-A, serving as an emergency option if issues arise at the major-league level. <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Carson Benge<\/span><\/span> is expected to open the season as the starting right fielder, with veteran <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Tyrone Taylor<\/span><\/span> also in the mix.
