The young right-handed prospect broke into the league late last season and made a quick name for himself. His minor league performance and development pushed him into major league promotion, and there is no going back.

In fact, his profile projects him to be one of the dependable options in the rotation for this upcoming season.

Cam Schlitter’s 2025 Performance Was a Sneak Peek into His Abilities

The hype behind the highly-ranked Yankees prospect began in both Double-A and Triple-A ball. Schlittler got two postseason starts last October. The first was a sterling performance for the young right-hander. Schlittler held his own by staying competitive, albeit in a losing effort. The Yankees prospect pitched a total of 14 1/3 postseason innings, allowing 13 hits, two earned runs, and four total runs over two starts. He went 1-1, striking out 14 batters, walking no one.
