The Philadelphia Phillies have some under-the-radar players who could be on the move this offseason. It would not be a surprise to see the Phillies rearrange the edges of their roster via trades. Nick Castellanos<\/a> and Alec Bohm<\/a> are expected to be traded<\/a> this offseason, but other players could be on the move as well. Bryce Harper<\/a> is not going to be traded<\/a> despite prior speculation. Taijuan Walker<\/a> is another player who could realistically be traded. In his case, it wouldn’t be a surprise. Some players could be moved because of minor league option considerations. Furthermore, others could be moved because they are blocked from the major league roster at their current position.<\/p>\n

Phillies Players Who Might Be On the Move<\/h2>\n

Seth Johnson<\/h3>\n

Seth Johnson<\/a> has no minor league options remaining, making him a trade candidate. While Johnson had a rough outing in his lone major league appearance in 2024, his 2025 season was decent. He split the 2025 season between Triple-A Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia. In the minors, the Phillies moved Johnson to the bullpen to give them roster flexibility. In total, he made 49 appearances across both levels in 2025. Johnson had a 1-1 record with a 4.26 ERA in 10 major league outings this season. He also had a 4.25 K\/BB rate and a 1.184 WHIP in the majors. If Johnson remains with the Phillies heading into spring training, he will be in line to compete for a bullpen spot. There will probably be a decent amount of competition for those spots.<\/p>\n
