6. Alternate Reds<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Born in the early 2000s, the red alternates were designed to complement the sea of red in the stands of Citizens Bank Park, energizing the crowd. Due to league rules on how many uniforms one team can roll out in a season, the team bumped the alternate reds out of the 2025 rotation.\u00a0Often, the team uses the all-red concept during spring training and exhibition games. The uniform combination looks very \u201cpractice-like\u201d and has little history outside of regular-season play.
