The Los Angeles Dodgers have not met expectations this year. Despite leading the National League West, they have struggled to maintain consistency in all facets of the game. The latest group to falter has been the bullpen. Early this season, the relief corps was the strength of the 2025 squad. However, they have failed to get crucial outs in the late innings. They have double-digit opportunities to preserve a lead in the eighth and ninth innings and have failed to do so. Case in point, the bullpen blew leads to lose a series against the Philadelphia Phillies, and their collective ERA is over four. Consequently, they will have to play the Wild Card round to begin the postseason. The Dodgers need the bullpen to be effective if they want to win another World Series, and here are four fixes they could consider.<\/p>\n

Get Healthy and Let Them Find it<\/h3>\n

Michael Kopech<\/a>, Kirby Yates<\/a>, Blake Treinen<\/a>, Tanner Scott<\/a>, and Brock Stewart<\/a> have all spent significant<\/a> time on the injured list thus far. It may take several outings to find their groove again. However, Kopech and Yates have had several<\/a> outings to “find it,” and yet they still struggle. There are signs that Scott and Treinen are trending in the right direction. However, Los Angeles can ill afford to be patient with only nine games left in the regular season and the National League West still up for grabs. The sooner they find fixes, the better.<\/p>\n
