The terms of the deal have not been confirmed. Milwaukee adds depth to their rotation, and with the success of Milwaukee&#8217;s young talent, the Brewers are still able to sign another pitcher this offseason, perhaps <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/l\/lynnla01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lance Lynn<\/a><\/strong> or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/c\/cobbal01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alex Cobb<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Source: Free-agent RHP Yovani Gallardo in agreement with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Brewers?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#Brewers<\/a>. He finished with a 5-10 record, sporting a 5.72 ERA. He lacked command of his pitches last season, posting a 4.7 BB\/9. Gallardo also gave up his fair share of hits due to his command. He posted a 9.5 H\/9, while also giving up nearly two home runs per game, posting a 1.7 HR\/9. He only managed to clock 130.2 innings last season. Gallardo didn&#8217;t get much help pitching at Safeco, posting a 74 ERA+. He finished last season with a -0.1 WAR. The Mariners declined Gallardo&#8217;s $13 MM option after watching him struggle last season.<\/p>\n<p>Gallardo has spent 10 seasons in the majors, seven with Milwaukee, one with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonbaseball.com\/mlb-teams\/texas-rangers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Texas Rangers<\/a>, and one with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonbaseball.com\/mlb-teams\/baltimore-orioles\/?doing_wp_cron=1513485065.6661798954010009765625\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Baltimore Orioles<\/a>, before signing with the Mariners last season. He spent 2007 to 2014 with the Brewers before going to Texas in 2015. Gallardo then went to Baltimore in 2016. He&#8217;s thrown a career total 1722.1 innings, with a 3.93 ERA and 1526 strikeouts.<\/p>\n<p>Gallardo has made postseason appearances with the Brewers in 2008, and 2011, and then in 2015 with the Rangers. He has a 2-2 postseason record with a 2.32 ERA.<\/p>\n<p>Gallardo&#8217;s 2010 and 2011 seasons with the Brewers were his best of his career. In 2010, he became an All-Star and earned a Silver Slugger. He recorded 185 innings, across which he posted a 3.84 ERA and collected 200 strikeouts.\u00a0 Gallardo also swung it well at the plate in 2010, slashing .254\/.329\/.508, with four home runs and 10 RBI.
