We\u2019re well into July, so it\u2019s time for the annual Pittsburgh Pirates soap opera, \u201cAs the Rumor Mill Turns.\u201d Pirates insider and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette<\/em> beat reporter Noah Hiles appeared on 93.7-FM The Fan on Wednesday and was asked to give the probability that various Pirates would be traded. Kiner-Falefa is on an expiring contract, so it should have gone without saying that he would be dealt<\/a> within the next few days. There\u2019s been no indication that he and the Pirates have discussed a contract extension. Other Pirates who can become free agents after this season, and who are certain to be traded, are Caleb Ferguson<\/a>, Andrew Heaney<\/a>, and Tommy Pham<\/a>.<\/p>\n
