Coming out of the All-Star Break, the Oakland Athletics arrive into the second half of the season red hot, only four games back of their division rival Seattle Mariners for the second AL Wild Card spot. They strengthened their pitching for the home stretch by trading two minor league players to the New York Mets for RHP Jeurys Familia.
