ACC Sleeper? Pitt downs Boston College

The Pitt Panthers are now 2-0 after downing Boston College 30-20 in the ACC opener for both teams. Mark Rogers tabs Pitt as an ACC Coastal Division sleeper after James Conner toted the football 36 times for 214 yards and a score. The Panthers dominated at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Sophomore Chad Voytik (10 for 20, 111 Pass Yards) connected with Tyler Boyd (5 Rec, 72 Yards) on two scoring passes. Voytik tossed just 11 passes in backing up Tom Savage last season after coming to Pitt as the fourth rated pro style high school quarterback according to Rivals.com. The Pitt defense shut down the Tyler Murphy-led BC offense to just one touchdown. The Florida transfer hit on just 10 of 28 for 134 yards with a touchdown and 2 interceptions. Murphy did notch a second conseutive 100-yard performance (104) for the Eagles, after starting six games with the Gators in 2013.
