The boys look at the results of this weekends draft lottery. What does winning the first overall pick mean for the Toronto Maple Leafs? Is there a chance they take someone other than Auston Matthews? What does second spot mean for the Jets? Is Jesse Puljujarvi the pick for the Jackets? Who are the big losers here, Edmonton, Calgary or Vancouver? What do Buffalo and Arizona do? What will be left for the Habs to draft?
The boys also look at the firing of Bruce Boudreau and ask what another playoff loss means for the future of the Anaheim Ducks. Could one of Corey Perry or Ryan Getzlaf be on a new team next year? How does Bob Murray rebuild this team?
Reports have emerged that the NHL and NHLPA have agreed on a format for an NHL expansion draft. With this roadblock cleared, is expansion a certainty? What will your team stand to lose? How many teams will be coming in? Where will they be located? Can the NHL survive in Vegas?
Lastly, the boys also look at all four second round playoff series after a game or two. What has happened so far, and what does it mean fore where these series are going in the next few games?
