Treble Radio: Leicester Will Be Champions, Who Gets Relegated?

As this point, we basically know Leicester will be champions, but who will get relegated? We preview Norwich vs Sunderland to find out.

The whole team is back this week, but with an extra special, extra tiny, guest!

We start off this podcast with Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-0 bashing of Manchester United. What exactly went wrong for United when it looked like they could grind out a 0-0 draw. How did Spurs change that?

Arsenal are definitely not in the title race anymore, but second, or third, place isn’t far off. West Ham definitely didn’t pick them apart but are still contenders for fifth or even fourth.

Leicester City have officially qualified for the UEFA Champions League. The Foxes will compete with the best in Europe next season. What does the summer window hold for them? Leicester will be champions, but who will get relegated?

Crystal Palace won their first game of the year! They look safe, but what of their opponents, Norwich? They have a big test coming up next weekend with Sunderland coming to town.

Speaking of summer, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino hasn’t signed his new contract with the club yet. Is this negotiation for a higher payday or with another club?

This week we preview what should be a Europa League spot clash between Everton and Southampton before looking to what should be a title clash Chelsea and Manchester City. This season is an odd one, and we’re loving it.

Laura McFayden is a photographer living in the great city of Kansas City, Missouri. Her love for Manchester United is just as strong as her love for MLS club Sporting Kansas City and two time NWSL champions FC Kansas City. She is also an MLS editor for Last Word on Sports. She has played basketball, volleyball, softball, ran track, and did gymnastics, but none of those came close to soccer.

Eric Walcott is a Legislative Assistant in the Michigan House of Representatives by day, and a soccer fan 24/7. He’s played soccer his whole life and now covers MLS, Portland Timbers, and Arsenal for LWOS. Eric helped start the supporters group Sons of Ransom for NPSL club Lansing United because there’s nothing quite like standing in the crowd and supporting your local team every weekend. 4th place might not be a trophy, but THE FA CUP SURELY IS!

Treble Radio host, Arslan Siddiqui, is a Canadian who does not speak many languages, but he has definitely specialized in the language of the beautiful game. When his grasp of the language isn’t strong enough, he (tries) to substitute it with comedy. He is a Liverpool fan who started the ‘Anfield Alive’ column on Last Word On Sports, where he provides commentary and opinion on everything Liverpool and Premier League related. A university student and a young adult, he promises to provide entertainment and (a little bit of) knowledge!
