FANTASY PROFILE: Derek Carr, QB, Oakland Raiders

Derek Carr was not as awful as many try to make it out to be.  He had over 20 touchdowns and only 12 interceptions which is very solid for a rookie quarterback. Now the Raiders have added wide receivers Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper, giving Carr legit threats on the outside to air it out to.

If Oakland can protect Carr and establish a running game this kid might be a steal or with Bill Musgrave at the helm, the team could collapse and Carr could take a step back in his second year.  He’s someone you might not mind having as your number two quarterback knowing that there is potential upside.
