New York Red Bulls Launch Internet Radio Network

Red Bulls to Stream Audio Broadcasts in English and Spanish

HARRISON, N.J. (April 17, 2015) – The New York Red Bulls announced today plans to stream live audio broadcasts of all home games from Red Bull Arena in both English and Spanish via the team’s official website, NewYorkRedBulls.com.

The Internet radio broadcasts will begin tonight, April 17 when the Red Bulls host San Jose at Red Bull Arena. In addition to the home broadcasts, New York’s games at NYCFC and Philadelphia will also be streamed live on the team’s website.

“We wanted to give our fans another option to follow Red Bulls soccer,” said New York general manager Marc de Grandpre. “Now fans anywhere with access to the Internet can listen. It was important from our perspective to provide both audio broadcasts in English and Spanish and we are excited to have a strong collection of voices to call the action.”

Fans can listen to the games on any mobile device or via their computer at www.NewYorkRedBulls.com/Live on any mobile device or via their computer if they had access to a steady internet connection like Optimum Internet.

Veteran soccer play-by-play voices Jonathan Yardley, Ed Cohen and Matt Harmon will handle the English broadcasts along side former MetroStars and Red Bulls standout Steve Jolley providing color commentary.

Ernesto Motta, one of the top Spanish play-by-play voices of the game of soccer, returns after being the voice of the team for over a decade.

Yardley, who served as MSG’s play-by-play announcer for New York’s games at Columbus and D.C. United this season, will call the action tonight on the English broadcast with Jolley. Fans who are unable to utilize the reverse SAP function on their television of the UniMas broadcast can listen to the game in English via NewYorkRedBulls.com.
