Wrestling 2 the MAX: New Japan Invasion Attack 2015 Review

Editor’s Note: Wrestling 2 the MAX is comprehensive Pro-Wrestling podcast that covers everything from WWE, NXT, TNA Impact, and ROH to other global entities like Lucha Underground and New Japan Pro Wrestling. This show is informative, fun, and meant for every kind of pro-wrestling fan out there.

We are looking to change up a few things going forward and we hope you like it.

In “Quick Hits” we discuss SmackDown moving to USA in 2016 and the big possibility of it becoming a LIVE show. We also discuss what suggested match for Ronda Rousey works best at WM 32. Then there are a few other things: Who would be the best choice as trainers for Tough Enough Season 6, AJ Lee retiring, Justin Roberts blog about Connor, Roman Reigns family, and Jericho’s podcast with John Cena.

Then we move onto our new way of reviewing WWE RAW, which is done by storyline and we ask questions based on what’s happening and where they could go next, bouncing around to important things that happen on RAW, plus we also give a rating for the episode too. It is no longer a regimented segment by segment break down of the show.

Next we have our New Japan Invasion Attack 2015 review, along with our review of NXT.

With Lucha Underground, we start by discussing all the backstage segments in one grouping and then discuss the matches all together as well.

Finally, we finish things off with a new way to review TNA Impact Wrestling, which will change each week depending on what is presented. Since the most recent TNA was a bunch of matches, we ranked the matches and discussed what worked and what didn’t. And of course, we have to end things with our W2M Power Rankings.

We also announced that starting next week, we will begin covering ROH on a weekly basis. Enjoy the Show!!!

Wrestling 2 the MAX airs live on Tuesday nights at Midnight EST and then is available immediately after airing on-demand via the LWOS I-Tunes, LWOS Stitcher, Tune-In Radio, the PodBean App, Player FM and other podcast hosting locations.

If you would like to leave a message for Sean, Gary, or Paul, or to discuss future show ideas, please feel free to do so in the comment box below.

Sean Garmer: Sean Garmer studied Journalism at the University of North Texas. Sean loves pro-wrestling so much that he even trained to be a wrestler at the age of 17. Though he eventually had to quit wrestling to go to college, he still returned to do play-by-play commentary, help write storylines, and most of all, to watch matches. Sean started his love of pro-wrestling at the age of five after watching a Hulk Hogan match. Due to his family hating sports-entertainment, there were many years he missed. However, he returned full-time to being a fan in the late 1990’s. Since then, Sean has gone on to write for various wrestling websites in a number of capacities, but he discovered his true passion, Podcasting, two years ago when he and Gary started the Wrestling 2 the MAX Podcast.

Gary Vaughan: Gary Vaughan is a native North Texan with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas. His time in college actually rekindled his love of pro wrestling he had lost somewhere along the way. Gary’s enjoyment of the sport began around 1996. As a fan, he has become a student of the wrestling business and gains knowledge through many platforms. WCW is dear to his heart because of it being his introduction to the scene. Now, Gary is a proud podcast host, as well as a writer for wrestling columns.

Paul Leazar: Paul Leazar is a recent college graduate from the University of North Texas with an immense amount of time on his hands because nobody wants to hire the idiot with the History degree. He was born an’ raised in the great state of Texas, and began his love affair with pro wrestling at the tender age of five after watching WWF’s Summerslam 1993 pay-per-view. The relationship turned serious with the growth of independent wrestling and the internet in the early 2000’s, which has seen the love affair turn into a full blown addiction that led him to write about it sporadically for various websites, and co-host the Wrestling 2 The Max podcast.
