Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao Set For May 2nd, likely in Las Vegas

Finally, the most anticipated boxing match of this decade by far is happening May, 2nd and both fighters have signed and are ready to go. It will most likely be at the MGM Arena in Vegas, but that is yet to be confirmed. Floyd Mayweather will put his undefeated record on the line against the legendary Manny Pacquiao.

For years and years, this superfight was rumored to take place, but negotiations didn’t work out and their management didn’t seem to push for it as much. Both fighters have beaten the “Who’s Who” of boxing and they will able to finally go toe-to-toe in the ring.

Many believe that this will be the greatest boxing event of all time. If that were to be true, it would have to compete with the likes of Ali-Frazier and Hollyfield-Tyson. Even though many say that this fight should have happened years ago, it will be a sweet treat to be able to watch this.

Pacquiao has seemed to have returned to his dominant form after he suffered back-to-back losses and is on a 3-fight winning streak. Mayweather is at an untouchable (47-0) record and is rumored to retire if he is victorious over Paquiao in May.

This fight will undoubtedly fill about every sports bar in the nation and will be possibly the highest pay-per-view event in the history of television. This fight is truly an instant classic in the making.
