Stampeders Grey Cup Tour

The Grey Cup-champion Calgary Stampeders have announced that the championship trophy will be making a series of visits to their community partners this week. From the Stampeders:

The Stamps are proud to partner and work with dozens of charitable organizations and community groups throughout the year and the Red and White is bringing the Grey Cup so that they help celebrate the championship season.

Members of the media are welcome to attend any of the events listed below.

Stops on the Grey Cup Community Tour include:

Tuesday, Feb. 3 (10-11 a.m.)
Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank
5000 11th St. SE

Stamps fans are encouraged to bring a food item to donate and get a photo with Purolator Tackle Hunger player rep Charleston Hughes

 

Tuesday, Feb. 3 (Noon-1 p.m.)
Salvation Army
Centre of Hope
420 9th Ave. SE

The Grey Cup along with select Stampeders will be stopping off at the Salvation Army Centre of Hope for lunch

 

Tuesday, Feb. 3 (2:30-3:30 p.m.)
Airdrie Food Bank
20 East Lake Way, Airdrie

Corey Mace along with teammates and the Cup will be visiting the Airdrie Food Bank to see just how much food the local community can collect

Canadian Blood Services ambassador Keon Raymond invites all fans to stop by the CBS offices for a blood drive. Keon and select teammates will be signing autographs and posing for pictures

Jabari Arthur, along with the Cup, will be joining his pals from Kids Cancer Care Foundation for a leadership seminar

Canadian Cancer Society
University of Calgary (MacEwan Hall) – 402 Collegiate Blvd. NW

Randy Chevrier and the Grey Cup will be visiting the University of Calgary to promote the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event in April

 

The Grey Cup will also be making a visit to the Alberta Children’s Hospital and attending an event hosted by the Sheldon Kennedy Childhood Advocacy Centre.
