FANTASY PROFILE: ROBINSON CHIRINOS C, TEXAS RANGERS
LWOS Ranking 21, Captains Value -$4.82
Chirinos got his first extended look in the majors last year and he hit .239 with 13 Home Runs. While he should be a decent bet to reach double digit home runs again, expecting anything beyond that may be a stretch as he never displayed elite power numbers during his several years in the minors. Last year, he hit .239 and had a relatively lower BABIP of .265. There is a slight chance he may improve his AVG with a slightly better BABIP. However, his ceiling/best case scenario for AVG is around .250.
