Fabber’s Believe It or Not, Losing and Week 15!

Losing is tough! There is not a better way to put it. I am sure we all have experienced losing in our lives but yet when it happens it still sucks. Losing is even worse when you cannot do anything about it, you have no control.

Fabber’s Believe It or Not, Losing and Week 15!

I recently had my cat, Clyde taken to the vet. He just wasn’t acting like himself and we wanted to make sure he was alright. You might be saying that you didn’t think me to be the cat person. You would be right but I have two anyway. When I first moved to Delaware my mom thought I was lonely so on one of her visits she went to the SPCA and boom, I got two cats. They are ally cats called Bonnie and Clyde. I have to be honest though they grew on me. Clyde is like a dog and I will not lie, I love him. He is an awesome cat and he became part of my family. It has been 11 years now that we have been side by side, that is a long time. It is the same amount of time I have had my daughter. They grew up together as I grew old.

The appointment didn’t go very well and Clyde will be leaving us soon. Knowing I will be losing him has brought tears to my eyes numerous times and somehow I am still not ready for it.

This cat is so cool people drove over four hours to make sure they say goodbye. I have received phone calls, texts, and emails just checking on him. He is way more than just a cat.

That made me think of all the great stories he was involved in, made people laugh, smile, joke and so much more. I could focus on the loss or I can remember all the great things.

This is the same choice we all have in fantasy. For some, the season is over already, for some it will end this week and everyone’s will end soon. You can focus on the bitter end or you can remember the great times.

Someone once said something that stuck with me forever and I believe it to be true “If you look for the bad you will find it and if you look for the good you will find it. I choose the good a long time ago”. I hope you choose the good! It makes things so much better.

Long live Clyde, the best damn cat one could ever ask for or not ask for.

Week 14 we went 63% with the calls but this week we aim to do better.

Week 15 starts now!

Believe

QBs
Matt Ryan ATL, 25 Points: The only way the Falcons can move the ball with any consistency is through the air. They will be going against the 8th worst QB fantasy defense in the NFL, the Steelers. He needs a big game for them to have a chance.

Ben Roethlisberger PIT, 22 Points: Rare I have two QBs from the same game but this is a rare week. Falcons have gotten better at pass defense but are still in the bottom half. Also the game plan should be stop Bell, let Ben go HAM!

Eli Manning NYG, 22 Points: He is playing the worst fantasy defense versus quarterbacks in the whole NFL, Washington Redskins. They will throw early and often and he already torched them once this year.

RBs
Justin Forsett BAL, 14 Points: He is going up against the Jags who give up more than 22 points to opposing backs. He is the man ball carrier now and looks 100% healthy.

Mark Ingram NO, 12 Points: The Bears are in the bottom half when it comes to rush defense and we all saw D. Murray run all over these guys. The Saints will protect Drew Brees by establishing a strong run game.

Jonathon Stewart CAR, 11 Points: No Cam, iffy O-Line, and defensive struggles are making him a great play. He showed he still knows how to run and the Bucs are still in the top 10 worse fantasy running defenses.

WRs
Emmanuel Sanders DEN, 15 Points: They are playing the Chargers the week after Peyton Manning had his worse day in fantasy in a long time. I expect multiple touchdowns by this guy.

Mike Evans TB, 14 Points: He is a stud and playing a secondary that is a bunch of cast offs. Let the stud play.

Kelvin Benjamin CAR, 13 Points: The QB change doesn’t hurt him because he has done well with the back-up. This should be a high scoring affair and we saw what he did against this defense earlier in the year.

TEs
Delanie Walker TEN, 12 Points: He is going up against the fifth worse fantasy defense versus tight ends in the Jets. They give up 0ver 10 points per game versus that position. He is also the only stable offensive threat his team has.

Larry Donnell NYG, 12 Points: This is the same team that put this player on the map! He is playing against the second worse fantasy defense when it comes to this position. He should have a field day again.

Kickers
Justin Tucker BAL 12 Points

Josh Brown NYG 10 Points

Defense
Rams 14 Points

Giants 12 Points

Nots

QBs
Philip Rivers SD, 17 Points: His O-Line is leaky at best. His receivers cannot create space enough to have any consistent threats. He is in bad shape and this week isn’t the turnaround week.

Ryan Tannehill MIA. 16 Points: The Patriots defense is clicking. His line is getting weaker while his skilled players are getting beat up. This might be a rough week for him.

RBs
Tre Mason STL, 8 Points: A short week with a stingy run defense on the other side will make it hard for this player to show his worth. This is a good time for him to watch from your bench.

Lamar Miller MIA, 7 Points: He is dealing with a couple injuries and barely sees half the carries. He is hurt worse than he is leading on or the team doesn’t trust him. Either way this hurts his value at the worse time.

WRs
Keenan Allen SD, 7 Points: He has not lived up to the hype he had this year after a great rookie campaign. Denver has a shut down corner and Allen hasn’t done well this year versus them.

Mike Wallace MIA, 6 Points: He has a first class trip to Revis Island for over 70% of the game. Revis has shown he is still one of the best corners in the game and this week should be no different. Stay away!

TEs
Dwayne Allen/ Coby Fleener IND, 12 points combined: They make each other weak!!! This is the few times where if you divide them they get stronger not weaker. I can’t trust either of them now.

Jason Witten DAL, 7 Points: He is not that guy anymore and its time we all move on. He used to be the man but now he is just one of the guys. Oh yea and the Eagles are the seventh best when it comes to covering tight ends.

Kickers
Phil Dawson SF, 5 Points

Blair Walsh Min, 4 Points

Defenses
Bills 7 Points

Redskins 4 Points
