Fabber’s Believe It or Not, Thanksgiving and Week 13

Fabber’s Believe It or Not, Thanksgiving and Week 13

I am the guy who gives thanks every single day. I am extremely lucky to live the life I do and have the people I have in it. I am blessed and thankful for it.

I do enjoy a great Thanksgiving though. It is a perfect day. You have food, family, friends, and football all day long!!!! What else could we ask for? This is one of the few days where most people put their problems behind them and focus on the good. Most of us will be cheery and delightful, which is the way I like my people.

Also, there are some great games on this year. Dallas/Philadelphia, Seattle/San Francisco and Detroit/Chicago will take up most of the afternoon and night. All divisional games with something on the line for all teams involved. From playoff hopes all the way to first in the division.

I will be in the tough spot of rooting for Murray in a house full of Eagle fans. To say this will be interesting is an understatement. I will cheer quietly and let them go banana sandwich over their team trying to stop the beast in Dallas known as Demarco.

I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and see all we have to be thankful for. I hope we find peace right here at home. I hope people look for the good because it is out there as well.
I also hope people realize we have hungry people right here, with no food, on this day where most of us will stuff ourselves to the brim. While many will eat themselves sick some will go another day without. One in six people right here faces hunger. Over 50 million Americans struggle to put food on the table.

There is only one race and that is the human race so lets stick together!

So let’s break this day up and give thanks for all you have but don’t forget the giving part. Help one another and love one another. America throws away enough food to feed the hungry. Be part of the solution not part of the problem. Have a great day and of course good luck. Playoffs are almost here!!!

I am staying right around 75% for successful calls even though last week was 50/50. I will aim to do better for you this week but who knows.

Believes

QBs
Ben Roethlisberger PIT, 26 Points: The Steelers had two weeks to prepare for the ninth worst fantasy defense versus quarterbacks in the Saints. This offense is clicking on all cylinders. He has the weapons and should be using them on Sunday.

Matthew Stafford DET, 24 Points: So many factors points to a nice bounce back game on this one. The Bears give up roughly 20 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. The Lions cannot find any ground game so they will depend on the pass to move the ball and they have two talented options on the outside.

Ryan Tannehill MIA, 22 Points: He is one of the hottest quarterbacks in the game and he is gaining confidence in himself and his weapons weekly. Oh yea and he is going against the Jets defense who made Orton look like he was the next Elway and they are the worse defense in the league versus quarterbacks.

RBs
Andre Ellington ARI, 15 Points: I know last week he was a big NOT but this is a new week. Did you see how good Atlanta defense made a couple rookie backs look last week? Well here comes a top 12 back in the NFL to show everyone once again. This wasn’t a onetime thing either, Atlanta’s fantasy rush defense is the second worse in the NFL.

Tre Mason STL, 13 Points: This is a run heavy offense and we all know that isn’t changing. He will be facing the third worse fantasy rushing defense in the NFL in the Raiders who give up nearly 23 points to opposing backs per game.

Denard Robinson JAC, 12 Points: I know he disappointed us last week but this is a new week and he is facing the Giants who stop the run as well as I would (not good at all). His speed should help him have a big game.

WRs
Terrance Williams DAL, 16 Points: I know everyone thinks Dez Bryant will have the big game for the Boys but I see Williams contributing in a huge way. The Eagles fantasy pass defense is the second worse for a reason and I expect that to continue.

Keenan Allen SD, 13 Points: In his last five games he is averaging over 10 targets per game and this week he has a great matchup. He is starting to play like the guy many drafted him to be.

Brandon LaFell NE, 11 Points: Having Tom Brady as your quarterback sure does help you look better. He is going against the Packers who are the 10th worst team in fantasy defense against opposing receivers.

TEs
Charles Clay MIA, 14 Points: Let’s hope he is healthy enough to go because playing the Jets is the best matchup for this player for the year. If he is a go he should be in your lineup.

Eric Ebron DET, 10 Points: Another guy who if he is playing has a great matchup to do big things. This rookie hasn’t lived up to the hype but this is one week where he could arrive in front of our eyes.

Kickers
Matt Prater DET 11 Points

Greg Zuerlein STL 10 Points

Defenses
Dolphins 18 Points

Rams 16 Points

NOTS

QBs
Matt Ryan ATL, 17 Points: Cardinals are finally healthy and playing tough versus QBs. Ryan’s line is awful and will not have the time to get the ball out. This could be a rough one at home.

Jay Cutler CHI, 16 Points: Lions are tough this year and Cutler doesn’t do well versus tough. This is one of those games where more jerseys will be burnt after and I am not talking Lebron’s.

RBs
Eddie Lacy GB, 8 Points: He has been on fire as of late but all fires go out. This is the week where Lacy comes back to earth. Patriots are a solid matchup and this should be a high scoring affair.

Frank Gore SF, 6 Points: He is splitting carries, losing fumbles, and playing a tough defense that is getting healthy at the right time. He is not the man anymore and it’s time to accept it.

WRs
Julio Jones ATL, 7 Points: This will be one of his toughest matchups all year. I am sure they will be throwing often just not to him. Sometimes it just isn’t your week and this isn’t his. There might be a Julio but there will not be any playground.

Sammy Watkins BUF, 5 Points: The charm is wearing off this rookie wide receiver. He was a disappointment last week and this week he runs into Haden, who is one of the best corners in the game. This is a matchup he is not ready for.

TEs
Kyle Rudolph MIN, 6 Points: Carolina could be called many names that refer to bad but they defend tight ends very well. He isn’t in football shape yet and this isn’t the type of matchup to try him with.

Martellus Bennett CHI, 5 Points: The Lions play some tough defense this year and Cutler has started not even looking this guy’s way. Should he have a good game sure but he will not due to the system and the opponent.

Kickers
Matt Bryant ATL 6 Points

Robbie Gould CHI 5 Points

Defenses
Cowboys 9 Points

Packers 7 Points
